Import Your Contacts: Outlook, Top Producer, MyRealEstateTools

If you want to import from a different program not listed above, follow the basic import instructions.

From your Inbox, click Add and select Import Contact List.

You will first need to export your contacts from Outlook 2007Top Producer 8i, or MyRealEstateTools, into a .CSV file and save it on your computer. (You can use that program’s support information for assistance on exporting.)

When ready, in column 1, under the Type of File menu select the name of the system from which you exported.

In column 2, set the Contact Status and Contact Type. These selections will apply to all contacts in your import file. If you have a mix of contact status and type in your file, you will need to save a separate file for each contact status and type combination. (Example: One file that has New Buyers and one file that has New Sellers.)

Note: The feature to add groups is coming soon! (So you can ignore that section for now)

Next, click Browse in column 3 to select and upload your previously saved .CSV file. Review the disclaimer and mark the check box. Then, click Import.

It can take up to an hour for the contacts to be added to your database. Just return to the Import Contacts page to check on the status.
